What does my child actually need?
Day one
A gi with belt — most schools include a white belt — and a rash guard underneath. For no-gi classes: rash guard and grappling shorts.
As training deepens
A mouthguard once live rolling begins. Between gi sizes? Choose the larger — cotton gis shrink slightly with washing.
