Two kids-only IBJJF opens land on the same Sunday — one in the Carolinas, one in Texas.
The Charlotte Fall Kids International Open IBJJF Championship (Concord, North Carolina) and the Houston Fall Kids International Open IBJJF Championship (Houston, Texas) both run Sunday, October 11. Both are international-level events built around kids' brackets, and a kids-only day can be a gentler first taste of IBJJF competition — or a fun day in the stands if your child is just watching this time. If they're competing: gi checked for rips, belt tied snug, water bottle labeled, and a snack plan for the waiting between matches.
