Taekwondo families in South Texas — there's an open on the calendar next weekend.
The 2026 Brownsville TKD Open is set for Saturday, September 26 in Brownsville, Texas. It's listed as a regional event on our tracker, and regional opens are often where a young student's very first competition happens: smaller venue, shorter day, and a little more breathing room between matches for a nervous kid. If it's their first one, the goal isn't a medal — it's walking off the mat wanting to do it again.
